Musée Rodin-Paris part 1
September 6, 2016Not far from the magnificence of Les Invalides and Napoleon’s tomb, the Hotel Biron and its gardens house this great collection illustrating the life, working methods and amazing output of Rodin. On a sunny day it was especially good to wander through the sculpture garden, and get close to some famous sculptures. Inside, the exhibition is beautifully laid out through the rooms of the mansion,; and you come out with a greater understanding of Rodin’s genius. Incidentally, Rodin believed that sculpture was a tactile art, and encouraged people to touch his works. Great part of our trip. Definitely worth a visit.
